This home has the volume of a cube. Building regulations prescribed that every house in that area should have the size of 9 x 9 x 9 m3, or 10 x 10 x 10 m3. The dimensions of Cube House are 10 x 10 x 10 m3.

One person villa and family villa 

This 300 m2, 3 story house is custom designed for the lifestyle of one person. Different from the average family homes, the 100 m2 master bedroom occupies 1/3 of the total floorplan. The house is prepared for a perhaps different lifestyle in the future: the one bedroom home can easily be converted into a large family home. It can have 4 bedrooms, including 2 bathrooms. For families whose parents work from home, this house can also be converted into a 3 bedroom home with a separate office. 

Light and sun

The 10 meter high vertical void of Cube House spans the total height of the house. It allows getting the sunlight deep into the building. A 10 meter long roof light ensures that walking the stairs, going from the bedroom to the bathroom, having a shower or relaxing in the bath can all be experienced in close contact with the weather circumstances. These qualities will be present both in the one bedroom home, as well as in the 4 bedroom home.
